Earlier today, I read an article I wrote about four years ago, and whilst it wasn’t exactly a spectacular write-up, I find the points still quite valid.

The preacher said, there is nothing new under the sun, for that which is, has been, and that which will be already is. The idea then must be to learn from yesterday how we got to where we are today, and use those lessons to guide our steps going forward.
One point that resonates again with me, was that in which I described our worth and value. We can sometimes make the mistake of seeking approval from people that don’t see our worth, whilst dismissing those that actually see and place value on us. It’s the old paradox of life, not valuing what we have at the expense of things we don’t have.
True, we must not settle in the mire of been highly valuable one-eyed men where everyone around us is blind, at the same time, we must not chase after the validation of people who would actually not place any serious value on us, no matter how much or how hard we try.
Behold, what manner of love the father has lavished on us that we should become the sons of God. He has forever placed value on us, let’s grow and add value in turn to others. Others things, well, will be figured out.
