Have you ever been moved to tears by someone’s life experience? Well, I have. And no, I didn’t know the person personally.
There’s something about hearing the relatable things other humans like you pass through at one point in life or the other. Usually, it leaves you with so many imaginations, feelings, and questions.
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power.Psalm 145:4-5 (NKJV)
I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles.
Recently, I came across a video online. As much as it wasn’t anything extraordinary, it got me really teary. In that video, a man was sharing his testimony about how, for a long while, tough life had been for him and his family.
He narrated how they had been trying to make things change themselves until they chose to leave things in the hands of God, and plunged deep into kingdom service. Their breakthrough came when they let go.
Psalm 145:6-7 Men shall speak of the might of Your tremendous and terrible acts, and I will declare Your greatness.
They shall pour forth [like a fountain] the fame of Your great and abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of Your rightness and justice.
From this shared experience, I got enough light to lead me through the situation I was in and strength to keep going. I could only have imagined how many others the video reached and touched.
From the events recorded in the scriptures, it is obvious that God wants you to share acts of His goodness with everyone you come across. Some people won’t believe until they hear first hand experiences.
Luke 8:38-39 The man who had been freed from the demons begged to go with him. But Jesus sent him home, saying,
“No, go back to your family, and tell them everything God has done for you.” So he went all through the town proclaiming the great things Jesus had done for him.
Have you been quietly basking in the great things God has done for you? How long will you limit the spreading of the good news?
Get fired up on your inside! Rise up! Go and tell the world what the Lord has done. Speak forth!
Psalm 22:22 I will declare Your name to my brethren; in the midst of the congregation will I praise You.
