I believe that, in life, true success has little to do with speed and much to do with direction.
When we see others doing achievable things, it’s okay and commendable to appreciate them and learn from them. But then we are to continue pursuing our own personal goals, not begin to compete.
One can never be great with the mindset of competition, the highest someone can be with that is “Fair”.
When we strive to attain personal achievements and not to beat others at theirs, we will definitely shine. It best to shine one’s own glory, leaving footprints on the sands of time.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.Romans 12:2 (KJV)
Chase Vision! Stop chasing the crowd! Stop the “I must belong” attitude and chase purpose. Live the truth! Yes, others might get there before you, but have your vision always.
Don’t ever think you are too small to make an impact on the world evolving around you; the little you do speaks volume.
Always have it in mind to leave a pathway that others can walk on. Don’t look for fame, look for what you can do to make a difference, no matter how little it is – because in the end, it is not how far, but how well.
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
