Follow who know Road!

On the streets of the busy city I currently reside in, so many things happen. Infact, it is common knowledge that anything can happen.

Many a time, it seems as though some people exist just to cause pain for others. They make a living with taking advantage of people who are ‘disadvantaged’.

Being disadvantaged in this sense means lacking the appropriate or adequate level of street sense. I have witnessed this play out in different ways – and one or two times, I’ve been caught as a victim myself.

(Interested in this gist right? Lol! I’ll share it soon, but not today.)

[7] The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.
[8] The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

Psalm 121:7-8 (AMP)

Recently, on these busy streets of this city that we’ve established as sometimes dangerous, I walked past two elderly people walking slowly together. I was wondering why they decided to choose that pace until I moved closer.

The woman was walking directly in front of the man, and his left hand was placed firmly on her right shoulder. Apparently, the man was blind and, aided, he had to move carefully.

[5] Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
[6] Listen for GOD’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (MSG)

Despite the rush going on around, the woman was alert and super conscious of her immediate environment. She tried her best to safeguard him from shoves and approaching vehicles and other people who might try to take advantage of them. The blind man was disadvantaged, but his aid gave him an edge, a safety net of sorts.

[23] The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].
[24] Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him.

Psalm 37:23-24 (AMP)

A trending pidgin English slang goes as such; “Follow who know Road”, meaning, follow the person who knows the path you’re treading well. It’s just like hailing a ride somewhere; it pays to be on a journey with a driver who knows and has the right navigations to where you’re going.

Who has gone before you in the path you’re walking? Who knows the best route to the destination you’re headed?

It’s not to late to get the expert on your ship, so you can sail easy. Ask God to lead you!

With this Message from GOD, your Redeemer, The Holy of Israel: “I am GOD, your God, who teaches you how to live right and well. I show you what to do, where to go.

Isaiah 48:17 (MSG)
