I was recently at the hairdressing salon where I regularly get my hair done. It was a brief visit, only a couple of minutes, because I wasn’t doing anything major.
I met a particular woman who had been there for hours before I arrived. She wanted to get a full make-over; this involved making her hair, fixing eyelash extensions, getting her nails done, and buying one or two jewelry pieces from that same store.
 But you do know this: You know that if the homeowner had known what time of night the burglar would arrive, he would have been there with his dogs to prevent the break-in.Matthew 24:43-44 (MSG)
 Be vigilant just like that. You have no idea when the Son of Man is going to show up.
From the way the hair stylist and her apprentices were up and about, it was obvious they wanted to ensure no stone was left unturned in whichever direction the client so desired. The client in question was ready to stay there as long as it took to get her desired outcome.
All of this got me thinking: If we patiently go through all of these processes for natural reasons, how patiently do we go through spiritual building blocks? How prepared are you for your bridegroom that’ll soon be here?

I’ve heard some people say that believers no longer think about the Lord’s coming, instead, the peripheral things of life have become a distraction from the goal.
It is vital for you and I to stay focused on the things of the Kingdom without straying. Remain saved, be at alert and awake at every point in time.
