Have you ever spilled water? Did it happen unexpectedly or did you see it coming? For someone like me, as much as I have spilled, spilled and spilled water, I still can’t sense it when water is about to spill. Lol! 😂 Not fair, right?

He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.

Psalm 23:2 (ESV)

One thing we already know about water is that it can only have form when in a container or carrier, and it flows freely without one. When it flows, you can literally feel the rush and energy it charges with it each second.

Right from the beginning of creation, man was given a life of freedom to live and to dominate. He could do whatever seemed right with other creatures and make decisions, still with this came one instruction.

Except the fruit from the tree which is in the middle of the garden. God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.

Genesis 3:3 (AMP)

Of a truth, God has given you and I the free will to make decisions about our lives, to do what we believe to be right to us in-between our different life transitions. Still, we need Him as our ‘carrier’.

Just like water that freely flows; though it enjoys free movement and direction, there are days it needs to be still and coordinated. The One who carries you through the toughest times in life has a masterplan for your life – if only you would always recognize His place in it.

I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

Psalm 32:8 (AMP)

God’s promise in the scripture above can’t totally become a reality until you pick up your ability to make life decisions alone and hand it over to Him. Give Him the sole responsibility of carrying you and enjoy the great results forever.
