There is the grace and there is outstanding grace. When you observe people of special grace, you will realize that however short their stay in a place, it is always memorable. This Grace isn’t a product of man made efforts, but is something God only provides.
Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.2 Peter 1:2 (KJV)
This brings me back to a sermon I listened to a few years back, preached by Daddy Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the general overseer of a prominent church in West Africa.
Despite knowing him from a distance and not on a personal level, I saw someone filled with humility, dedication to and intimacy with the Father.
He preached about his old, sinful life and how he had peace with God through Jesus Christ and became justified by faith through the acknowledgment of his Sin, repentance and total yielding to God.
The sermon I heard made me perceive grace as one of the most important concepts in Christianity – and, indeed, the world. This grace is clearly expressed promise of God for His Beloved who are willing to yield.
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.sTitus 3:7 (KJV)
Being true children of God, we must permit the incarnation of grace within us to an outstanding degree. It is by His grace that we are saved.
