There have been days when I prayed hard for night to come so I could get some sleep. There have also been days when the night was extra long that I wished dawn could roll in faster. One thing that came to mind during one of these situations was how God created the universe and all in it in 6 days.
Genesis 1:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning–the sixth day.
 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.
 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work.
After the strategic event of creation, God rested on the seventh day. How about Jesus? Jesus, who was God and still a man, was a man of busy schedules. He kept preaching, meeting, healing and helping people everywhere He went.
Another key thing to note about Jesus is that He was always on the move. Traveling from one country to the other, from this town to that town, and He would always show up wherever He was led, He went.
Matthew 15:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
Guess what? With all of these activities and a lot more, He still scheduled time to rest properly. He understood the importance of resting after hectic activities and during this rest period, He reloads and gets fired up for another season of outpouring.
The Bible emphasized in 1 Corinthians 6 that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, this means your body is a gift given to you. Ever been given something from someone special? You know that you treat that item with all the care and love you can. Why not do the same with your body? Be physically healthy and strong enough for the assignments to come. Plan your way to a restful life today.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
 you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your body.
