I’m taking a break from my series on what is man. For as many as have not read through them, I encourage you to do so. I hope you will.

Mark 1:15
[15]And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

There are I think two notions concerning time, that to my mind are dangerous to sustain. The first is to think that we have all the time in the world. This often robs us of zeal, verve, and tenacity. The second is to think we have no time at all. This, if misunderstood, leads to fear, discouragement, and oftentimes the paralysis of pressure.

What then is it? I think the chiefest course is to understand that times are alloted. By this, I do not necessarily mean to say that, time is fixed.

But rather, to say that, in life, certain things are bounded to certain times. They might be able to happen at other times, but usually at a steeper cost. The old Maxim says there is a time for everything. However, not everything can happen at any time. Life would be chaotic.

Ecclesiastes 3:1
[1]To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

I’m hoping I would be able to communicate effectively, what’s on my heart. When you understand that your life isn’t a string of random occurrences but a deliberately weaved framework. It makes a difference. It means that if you walk in obedience and wisdom, you will arrive at designated and definite points as at when due.

We sometimes fall into the trap of comparison, failing to realize that each of us showed up with a different script. To copy and paste another’s path and time is to reject in some sense who you are. In classroom parlance, you’d be reckoned as absent in life though you lived.

I’m saying that your life has times with definite purposes attached to them. Do not fret if you have thought you have wasted times and seasons. God is a restorer. Do not be anxious, if you think time is going and yet your time doesn’t appear to be on the horizon, just remember, every assigned time in God is programmed for fulfillment.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

[11]He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

You, therefore, need not worry if seems as though you are losing time. Just check the blueprint, check with him, without whom was anything made that was made, because, from his standpoint, your time will be fulfilled.
