All The Way

This year, the number of bikes I’ve taken is definitely on the high side and I’m super grateful for safety.

Joshua 1:9

[9] “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God [is] with you wherever you go.”

Recently, my roommate and I left the house for work at the usual time we usually would. It took us a while before we could get a bike. Finally, we did and the ride wasn’t pleasant at all. We kept imploring the rider to slow down at intervals. This is just one out of the numerous encounters we’ve had.

All of these changed the morning we stumbled on “Our Customer“. We call him that because he carried us for a while and we had no complaints or bothers. We had a ride with him again that morning and we didn’t have to say a word to him about navigations and speed, no matter the road condition.

In a world like ours where there are a lot of twists and turns, and you look for a place of solace, who do you turn to?

Jeremiah 17:7-8

[7] “But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.
[8] They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

I’ve had experiences and I had to learn this lesson the hard way. Betrayal and heartbreaks are real but they are avoidable. How? By trusting and resting solely on God’s direction and counsel for your life.

Isaiah 26:3-4

[3] Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
[4] Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:

With His leading, your life runs smoothly and you can rest assured of the bright plans He has for you. He would hold you tight through the bumps and ensure you don’t hit your foot against stones. Why not trust Him with your life journey today? Go all the way with Him, He’s worth it!

Proverbs 3:5-6

[5] Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
[6] In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
