Life is beautiful and at the same time, it teaches us, humans, to remain grounded and connected to our true source. Have you ever taken the time to determine who or what your source is?
1 Corinthians 8:6 yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
Recently, I was watching some videos online and one of them was a musical show where contestants had to sing their way through different phases of the show. A particular lady caught my attention right from the audition phase. She had a captivating voice that sent shivers down my spine while I watched. The judges felt the same way too.
When it was time for the judges’ comments, she was asked where she learned to sing that way and all she said was, “I give all the glory to God“. I was awestruck! I expected her to beam with an endless smile while narrating her musical journey but the reverse was the case.
James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
Your heavenly Father is that one source that never runs dry. Unlike man, He is constant and never changes. How connected are you to Him? How much of Him do you reflect on platforms He gives you? How well do you ascribe glory to Him for the gifts He has given you?
Ephesians 1:3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.
God wants you to live for Him through every area of your life. Don’t keep living in isolation from God’s goodness, or stay away from Him and all He has for you. Stay connected!
