I remember the day I came across an inscription on a certain wall and how I queried its grammatical correctness instantly, instead of simply soaking in the meaning.
It read, “Beach More, Worry Less!”.

Looking through the lenses of the author, I understand that worry doesn’t add any advantage to you as a human and that it takes more than it adds to you. The author isn’t alone in this mindset, our heavenly Father doesn’t want His children worrying about anything.

Philippians 4:6

[6] Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.

Stay clear of anything and everything else that causes you to worry or fret in this season. Rather than that redirect your energy to your Father above and focus completely on His love. Don’t get lured to worrying yourself to points of ‘no return’, that you get worked up and sometimes breakdown.

1 Peter 5:7

[7] Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

Just in case you’re wondering what this write-up is about or the BIG question in your heart is, “So what else do I do?” Well, I’ve got pretty pennies for your thought!

Do more of organized and productive thinking. Call your mind, heart and body back to order once it starts racing! As much as you can run to the Holy Spirit in down times, He has given you the authority over your body, and emotions. Use it!

2 Corinthians 10:5

[5] casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

Lately, I’ve come to understand that it is okay to take a rest when you need it. Find out how you get refreshed and do it! For you, it could be visiting the Beach, and taking a stroll by the water, letting the sun smile at you, while inhaling the fresh air and gazing at the waves.

Whatever season of life you might be right now, be reminded, the Father is intentional about you. ❤️

Isaiah 43:2

[2] When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.

  1. We worry because we’re human. At times, it’s very okay to worry, think about things not working, but we should learn how to say “It is well”, not just as a word with no hope, but an affirmation filled with the consciousness of Jesus on top of the Tempest.

    Thanks for sharing again, Tabitha.

    God bless.
