Rhema!

What do you do when the chips are down? Recently, I was going through a rather troubled time on my inside. As much as things appeared fine with me physically, I wasn’t settled emotionally and I couldn’t pin point what exactly was wrong. Weird right?

Psalm 147:3
[3] He heals the heartbroken and bandages their wounds.
(MSG)

“Did you try praying?”, you might ask right now. Well, I did try. After which I  spoke with a few persons and the combination made me feel lighter. But I wasn’t totally fine. I felt like I still needed something stronger.

Hebrews 4:12
[12] For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.
(NLT)

Then on a certain evening, I came across a short video clip in Instagram from a minister of the Gospel. I got glued to his post because his words were hitting home and I could say they were meant just for me! I got all I needed in 54seconds! How specific has God’s word been to you?

Philippians 4:7
[7] Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
(NLT)

Jesus taught the multitude about the parable of the seed. He gave instances about seed types and their aftermath after being sown. After receiving a word from God, what do you do with it? It’s not enough for you to only seek His face for direction or instructions. His word can only bear fruits in your life when you apply it.

Mark 4:20
[20] Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop–thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown.”
(NIV)

The power in God’s word is supernatural and it can only be activated when you first believe. And then by obedience, you get to partake of the promises it holds for you. What word are you acting on in this season? Don’t forget that He speaks to you always, all you have to do is LISTEN.

Philippians 4:9
[9] Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me– everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
(NLT)
