God’s Eye!

There’s something supernatural believing in oneself does to a man. It helps you see yourself in a different light from the rest of the world.

Isaiah 41:10
[10] Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.

The first time I heard the song titled “I Am What You See” by Paul S. Morton, I was curious. I became curious to know what God thought about me, how he perceived my character and how He felt about my actions. I was wondering how I would feel to hear Him call me by name. A part of me felt like I was being too dreamy and abstract to even think about a thing like this.

Isaiah 43:1
[1] But now, GOD’s Message, the God who made you in the first place, Jacob, the One who got you started, Israel: “Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you. I’ve called your name. You’re mine.

Due to this, I would pray real hard and pay attention to hear Him speak. All my life, I had always seen myself through the words people said to me and through the labels attached to me based on my looks. Little did I know, I never even saw myself through the pair of eyes that mattered the most. God’s Eyes!

Ephesians 1:18
[18] having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

Until a certain sunny afternoon. Alone in my room, I was gathering my thoughts about life when I heard someone whisper my name. Startled, I jumped! I had to remind myself that I was indeed alone in the apartment. In a split second I realized what happened. He called my name! The feeling was a tranquil one as joy and peace filled my soul.

Isaiah 43:2
[2] When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end–

What do you long for? What kind of experiences do you pray for? Just like Jacob had an unforgettable experience with the angel that night, an event like that can be significant to your purpose and destiny.

It starts with you seeing yourself through God’s Eyes. Then you’ll start to see beyond your weakness and fully maximize the strength, and treasure deposited inside of you. You are precious!

Isaiah 43:4
[4] That’s how much you mean to me! That’s how much I love you! I’d sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you.
