One Thing

The life of the believer is a very interesting one, contrary to popular opinion. It’s a life designed for exploits, for advancing frontiers. However, the believer as he journeys must hold certain things as constants. These are truths in and of themselves But he must also himself discover them to be so, experientially. In other words, he must come to a point in which beyond any form of contradiction, he knows them to be true.

1 Thessalonians 5:24

[24]Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

I’d share with you one of those truths. It is this: That God is faithful.

I know that it probably sounds cliche, it’s something we all grew up saying. It’s something that even sometimes we hear unbelievers say. But do not let the familiarity take away anything from the intensity of the truth set therein. It’s a constant, God is faithful, regardless of every other thing. Regardless of you. He’s being faithful is an intrinsic thing.

When God commits himself to you via his word, for instance, you can be assured that you can hold him at his word, even if, quite literally something opposite to that word is happening. The word will come to pass. Why? God is faithful.

The idea of God being faithful, also means that God is trustworthy. You can trust God. I don’t know what kind of trust issues you have and why, but God introduces himself to you and says, “You can trust me. I am worthy and deserving of your trust”. Human relations are fraught with unfaithfulness. Men in themselves notoriously unfaithful. Mistrust and Distrust are have come to become mainstays.

But God is faithful. You can count on him. You can and should trust him. In my own experience, I came to that conclusion on a personal note that God is faithful, it stops to matters the environmental report or the situation of things, I hold as a constant that God is faithful.

I feel as though I should tell you to shout it aloud till your heart can hear you: ‘God is faithful’. Anytime you face a contradictory situation, a setting that doesn’t seem to have any positivity around it. Remember this immediately, God is faithful. Understand that He always acts in a manner that insists that all things, their nature notwithstanding work for your good.

Romans 8:28
[28]And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Say it again. God is faithful.

Right. That’s it for today

Tomorrow by God’s grace, I’d be back with a song review. Stay tuned.
