Living In Victory

I understand that the concept of living for different people has been shaped and directed by hearsay, worldviews and certain experiences. As you read this, I want you to ask yourself, What kind of life have I been living? Have I been living below God’s standards for my life?

Genesis 1:28
[28] And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.

When God gave man the mandate of dominion and authority, He expected man to live a specific kind of life with understanding and ease. Why ease? You may want to ask. It should be a life of ease because as soon as you understand this concept of how a Christian ought to live, and start utilizing the provisions made (The Word and The Holy Spirit), your life becomes easier to live. You bade goodbye to struggles, identity crisis, ignorance, self-pity and other issues that were the devil’s tools of torment.

John 10:10
[10] The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

Jesus didn’t come only for us to live a manageable or lucky life, He came so that we might live a life of meaning in its fullest expression. This life of victory we’ve been called to, is one which helps us conquer sin, live above fear and eventually neutralizes death in us. We have been called to live our lives as conquerors and even more. With Jesus, the height you can scale are limitless!

Romans 7:37
[37] Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

Take a pledge today to live your life in such a way that God will be proud of and the heavens will rejoice over. Keep your eyes and heart solely on Jesus and you’ll always live in victory!
